2nd Muar Rising Star Chanpionships, organized by SBW Dancesport Centre has been held on 15th November 2009, at SKT Banquet Hall, Muar. With the invitation from the organizer, we were then make a trip down to Muar. Since Jop (Ryan's dance coach in Thailand) was invited to be the adjudicator in that competition, we were lucky to have chance to take a lesson or two from him. The next day, we headed down to Malacca for a food feast!
Heading Malacca from Muar. It took us only 30mins.
Yeah, we've arrived in Malacca.
Malacca? Mmm I will call it heaven of food instead of historical town..haha

(3mins walk from San Shu Gong,Jonker Street)
When we talk about Malacca, the first thing that popped out in mind is - Chicken Rice Ball. In our previous Malacca trip, we had tried Chung Wah Chicken Rice Ball (中华茶室) located at Jonker Street. So this time we would like to give Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball a try. Located at Jonker Street also.
Homemade chili paste added with dark soy sauce. This is taught by the taukeneow. According to her, the dark soy sauce has the power to add extra flavour when eat together with steamed chicken.
Your trip to Malacca would never be complete if you don't eat this- Durian Cendol.
With generous amount of fresh and creamy durian paste, added with thick coconut milk and gula melaka sauce..hmm..need me to comment further?
Oh ya, this is the one I had at Jonker Street, not the one long-queued by tourists, but the one next door. Tell you what, this is nicer than the famous one!
