Out of so many types of cuisine in Malaysia, he heart Indian cuisine the most.
Since we were free on last Sunday and in the mood of hunting food, so we decided to go to Kanna Curry House@ Sec 17. It is not difficult to find if you know exactly where Rothman's Roundabout is.


Rice with three types of veggie: Cucumber, Snake Gourd and Aubergine (RM5.5 per pax)
Once you're seated, the servant will put a piece of banana leaf on your table and start serving you the white rice, veggie and PARPADUM!

Nothing special and forgetful


Mutton Rendang (RM6.8)
Nothing to shout about too. Can easily get nicer version at any Malay or Indian food stalls

Fried Calamari (RM7)
This is an awesome one. Crispy edge and juicy flesh. Mixed with some onion strings. Yummy!

Food Foundry @ Happy Mansion, Section 17

After attending Chic Pop Street Market 7 @Jaya one, we were planned to pay The Bee a visit. But after seeing the crowd in The Bee, we decided to go for Food Foundry which is just merely 5 minutes drive from Jaya One.

Food Foundry, is a cozy family restaurant, situated in the leafy suburb of Section 17, Petaling Jaya.
They claimed that they serve addictive-free western and asian cuisine.
Anyway, it is up to you to believe in it or not.

Mille Crepe- Vanilla (RM9)
Mille crepe, which literally means a thousand layers of crepe, is actually a cake comprising about 30 smooth, light layers of crepe with fresh cream between each layer.

It’s melt-in-your-mouth good, not too sweet, incredibly light and extremely addictive. Food Foundry Mille Crepe is available in 5 flavours:

Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate (RM9) Mango (RM10) Durian (RM12)
Not bad..but can't beat the one from Nadeje Patisserie :)

The Haute Food Co.

Haute pronounced: ōt or oht means fashionably elegant.

The Haute Food Co., located at Plaza Damas or commonly known as Sri Hartamas Shopping Centre, is famous for their sandwiches.


I super love this kind of cafe which use blackboard to tell patrons their daily special such as soup of the day, special of the day or weekend special.

Brewed from Genovese coffee beans from Melbourne. Thumbs up!

Smoked Chicken, Sundried Tomato Pesto & Cheese on Rye bread (RM11.9)
Overall it was nice but a bit salty to my liking :)

Note, all sandwiches made fresh or toasted with white, multigrain or rye bread, served with fresh salad on the side.

They do have a afternoon tea special(after 3.30p.m.). But it is only available on weekdays, excluding Public Holidays.

I personally heart this little cozy cafe very much. Suitable for a leisurely mid-morning cuppa or a quick lunch.


My loved one. Love his companion in my food hunting experience.

Besides serving good food and drinks, The Haute Food Co. do merchandise a few products like Brownie Bricks, Premium Hot Chocolate Mix, Neopolitan Biscotti, Spiced Cocktail Nuts and Toasted Breakfast Muesli.
