Our Makan Buddy, Alan's birthday is just around the corner. Ryan and me was cracking head on where to celebrate for him. Since he loves buffet, so we brought him to Tao Cuisine, Sunway Giza.
Tao Cuisine is a ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet which specialize in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Taiwan and Thai cuisine. It has one outlet in KL (Sunway Giza,Kota Damansara) and two in Penang( E Gate and Juru Auto-City). And there will be another 1 opened in Time Square, Penang soon.
One thing that Tao really impressed me is they do provide full table service where you can order 60% of the food through the menu and the servants are prompted to change your plate and refill your drink frequently.
They are actually running a system where approximately 60% of the food can be ordered through the menu while the rest can be taken from the buffet line (dessert, grill section, cold cuts, sushi and salad).

Sashimi and Sushi
The chef was efficient enough in replenishing the cold cuts and sushi.
The Grill section
Select vegetables, fungus, meat or poultry you want and the chef will grill or stir fry them for you.
Free-flow of Orange Juice, Green Tea and Peach Juice

One of their signature dish,Motoyaki Scallop. Unfortunately, It was served cold. I couldn't be happier if they can serve it hot next time
